It's ok, you will be after this! HAHA. But seriously, I will teach you the poses and move you all around. Not one person in any of our images is a paid model, they are normal women like you and like me.

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

WE HAVE JUST BUILT OUR NEW STUDIO! Our Retro Revival Rooms are located on Denison Street in Hamilton East NSW Australia and our new studio built in 2021 is located behind our main property. The Atomic Hideaway  is also a retro revival themed short stay accommodation so you will also have the option to add on accommodation to your collection.

 

Newcastle is close by the sea in the state of New South Wales situated on the East Coast of Australia, a wonderful holiday destination and the perfect stay-cation play house. The Atomic Hideaway will be located on the 2nd floor of our new build complete with main shoot area. Hardwood floors have been installed for our seamless photography backdrops which will also double as the Atomic Hideaway short stay lounge room and dining areas. It's flooded with gorgeous natural light, a comfy-shmumfy bedroom with queen bed for you our Queen, an incredibly swanky bathroom with custom made atomic hardware and vintage inspired claw foot bath. The kitchen boasts all the modern amenities including dishwasher, smeg oven and gas top stove, coffee facilities, fridge, microwave, utilities and more. You also get your own covered outdoor deck for chill time.

WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES..?

Only if you say it’s ok with you. Naturally, we would LOVE to use your images from your session, but they’re just that- YOUR images- and we don’t have the right to share them unless you feel completely comfortable with it.  Some clients feel comfortable sharing any and all of their images, some only want to share the anonymous images where their face is not visible, and some don’t want any shared at all.  Whatever you choose, we will honor your wishes.

CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET..? I DON'T WANT ANYONE KNOWING I'M DOING THIS.
Hells, yes!!  Your privacy is our top priority.  All of your images will be retouched in house and none of them will be stored in a place that is vulnerable to being hacked.  None of your images will ever be shared without your permission.  However, if you do decide to let us use your photos on our website or social media, we will only use the ones you specifically give permission for and we won’t use your name or tag you in our posts, unless you want to be tagged.  Basically, whatever requests you have for your privacy, we will honor.  And we’re happy to sign an NDA if you need one.

THESE IMAGES ARE A GIFT FOR MY PARTNER - WHAT ARE THE BEST IMAGE PRODUCTS?

WALL ART, 3D RETRO REVIVAL VIEWERS and ALBUMS. Do we know how to make a gift your partner will love! If we’ve done our job, these are going to be the best images of yourself that you’ve ever had made. We want you to want to display them and give them as gifts.  The vendors we work with make the highest quality products on the market.  You can order a large statement piece or a series of smaller pieces for your master bedroom wall or (if you’re really audacious) your living room wall.  All of our wall art comes ready to hang.  Albums also make a really lovely gift.  You can put quite a few images in an album and either tuck it away in a nightstand or proudly display it on a coffee table.  You can see all of our luxury products HERE.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Depending on weather or not you use the Pearl Davies wardrobe it will depend on your set. I always suggest layers/textures. Please click here for our Pinterest inspiration boards and follow along to get some great inspo.

WHAT DO I BRING WITH ME..?

Once you are all booked in we can discuss outfits and/or costuming. Please make sure though that you bring along with you:
- White Bra and Panties
- Black Bra and Panties
- Any shoes you feel would suit your sets
- Bottle of Water to keep hydrated throughout your session

 

HOW DO I PREPARE?

We are going to send you a detailed prep guide a few weeks before your session that will go over all the details. Mani's and Pedi's are a small detail most forget! Come with a clean face and hair. Take care of your skin a few weeks out to prevent any breakouts, get lots of sleep and DRINK WATER! This will reduce dark circles/puffy eyes and reduce bloating. Make sure you eat so you have lots of energy to play with us! Don't stress, this is going to be FUN. We have the best team and have been doing this for years.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY SESSION?

Most clients bring the bare bones minimum and nothing more. We require each of our clients to bring 1 nude thong and 1 black thong. That is it! You wear these under our Client Wardrobe for an added layer of protection. Some optional items we love to photograph that you can bring are thigh highs, fishnet stockings, and clothing options like sweaters, t-shirts, etc. Shoes and jewelry are also a great way to add some personality to your session, so we always love when people bring those too!!

 

CAN I SEND YOU SOME IDEAS..?

Of course, of course you can! It always helps me to know what you want as a client and it's my personal guarantee to you that we will work together in getting the results you want.

 

HOW LONG DOES THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION LAST..?

The actual session itself usually lasts 1 to 4 hours, depending on where we are and what artificial lighting is needed (if any).

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET ALBUMS AND PRINTS BACK?

With print you are in luck girl as I am stoked to say that I edit, print, mat and frame images up to A3 right here at Pearl Davies HQ. I am so thrilled with my Canon pro printer, I brag about it often. I use quality print paper and custom inks, you'll love your prints. Any image larger than A3 I go through my high standard professional printing labs in either Adelaide, Sydney and Queensland. You will receive your albums in about 6-8 weeks once your final payment is processed. Pickup is preferred but if you live out of town I will definitely post. I will need to send you an invoice for postage costs however. We do not offer online galleries or multiple appointments for your reveal, all ordering decisions must be made at your reveal appointment.

 

WHERE WILL MY PHOTOGRAPHS BE TAKEN..?

The photos are taken either in the Pearl Davies Photography studio in Newcastle NSW Australia, in your home or on set location.

WHEN WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?

You will see your images immediately after your shoot! We just take a quick 90-minute lunch break after the session to give you some time to recoup some energy and grab a bite to eat, meanwhile we are doing a brief retouch on all of your beautiful images from your session. You return to the studio after lunch, we will go through all of our sample products, and then show you a slideshow of your gorgeousness! Then we do the selection and design process for your printed products and place your order. This is the one and only time we will meet to see your images and order, any images not purchased are deleted permanently.

CAN YOU MAKE ME LOOK THINNER?

I want to help you feel beautiful now, just the way you are. We flatter you with hair and makeup styling, a wardrobe that compliments your figure, and amazing lighting and posing techniques to highlight your best ass-sets (see what I did there?). I do not believe in heavy photo shopping. Don't get me wrong, I will gladly remove all of your bruises and pimples, but I don't want to over manipulate your body to make you look like someone you are not. We already live in a time where we are consumed with unrealistic bodies in the media, I want to show you that you are beautiful at this very moment.

DO YOU EDIT ALL OF MY IMAGES?

Editing and PhotoShop is included in our image pricing, but you are going to be amazed at how great you look with our “less is more” approach. All of the final purchased images will receive the custom Pearl Davies edits that make our images POP!. We can edit out things like pimples, bruises, scratches, undereye, skin texture or redness, etc. We can do some nip-tuck, but with our expert posing and lighting skills it is usually not necessary. We do offer additional retouching services at no cost on things like cellulite, stretch marks, and scars, but we always leave those decisions up to you. You are beautiful just the way you are, no matter your age or size and we want to emphasize your natural beauty. Posing is key, as is communication. We all have our self perceived flaws, so let's work together to help you look and feel your best!

WHAT ABOUT RETOUCHING?

I am happy to retouch your images. All of our images will have pimples, bruises, scratches, and under eye circles removed. I also offer retouching on things like cellulite, scars, small tattoos, stretch marks, etc that you may want removed. Honestly, most of our clients are WOW-ed at how amazing their images look straight out of camera and opt for less retouching than they thought they needed. It's all a very personal decision, and one that we leave up to you once you have viewed your images. We do not remove tan lines or correct skin tone from tanning beds or spray tans, so proceed with caution.

DO I GET TO TALK TO YOU BEFORE MY SESSION?

Before your session you do have the option to chat over the phone with me so that we can prepare you for your session and get to know one another better. DO YOU ONLY OFFER PRINTS OR CAN WE GET DIGITAL IMAGES TOO?

We offer both prints and USB availability. We also do metal and canvas prints and specialty prints on artistic papers. Ask us about this too!

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH MEN..?

Absolutely!  We do not discriminate by gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or any other type of identity.  Men deserve to know they are beautiful and sexy and desirable just as much as women.  Mateusz is well-versed in posing and lighting styles specific to men.  

​

SHOULD I GO TANNING?

Please, no spray tans 4-6 weeks before session!! It stains our white bedding and carpets, and it does not photograph well. We also discourage the use of tanning beds 2-3 weeks prior to your session because it doesn't photograph as well.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Heck yes! We offer interest free payment plans for up to 18 months! They’re super simple and flexible to set up and we can make your dream session a reality even if you kind of got sticker shock reading about our pricing. We are always happy to discuss payment plan options on the phone prior to booking if you would like! All you have to do is set up a consult on our “Contact” page! No obligation required.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SPEND AT MY IMAGE DEBUT AND ORDERING APPOINTMENT?

Before we have created your images, it is hard for me to give you an exact figure as to what to expect. Some women come to me and just get a basic album, others come to me and want it all and invest several thousands on a variety of products. Keep in mind what you spend is up to you. You can purchase from our Collection Menu or the A La Carte Menu. What I can say is this, if you are looking for a "quick shoot" or "just a few images," this is not the session for you. We offer an experience and will show you anywhere from 50-100 final images that will be printed on luxury products. It is certainly an investment, one that is worth its weight in gold. You'll never tire of looking at your images or forget the way the session day made you feel. Our albums begin at $699 and go all the way up to $1999. Our Collections begin at $1800. Have sticker shock? No worries, we know that this experience is an investment and therefore we offer several different payment plan options. You can split up the cost of any of our products via our interest free in-house payment plan and make smaller monthly, fortnightly or weekly payments towards your purchase leading up to your shoot (usually 3-18 months) or you can get financing through one of our payment plan companies by using the links below to apply. IF I DON’T WANT HAIR AND MAKEUP, CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?

Of course you can but just an fyi, our stylists are amazing! Our session fee is $399 inclusive of Hair and makeup styling and $349 without. Amazing hair and makeup goes miles for your transformation, and it will make you FEEL like a million bucks! It’s also a lot of fun to be pampered for a bit before your session, it gives you some time to unwind with us and get comfortable in the studio. Proper makeup application and hair styling also saves us oodles of time during retouching, because you will already look flawless.

​

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A SESSION?

Our studio usually books at least 6-9 months in advance, if not more. When selecting a date to book, I always recommend booking a minimum of 12 weeks in advance of the date you need your images for (like a wedding, birthday, holiday, etc). For instance, if you are getting married in October I would recommend coming in no later than June for your session. Booking earlier and taking advantage of our pre-session payment plans (weekly/fortnightly/monthly options) can make you eligible for our BONUSES too so keep that in mind. Our calendar fills up fast so I always tell people to grab a date as soon as they can so they don’t miss out on any deadlines. We can rush orders for clients who find themselves in a bind, but we’d rather plan in advance so your experience is stress free.

SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BOOK?

The Session Fee is $399 ($349 if you are coming camera ready - hair and makeup done) and is required to reserve a space on our calendar.
